I knew the keel was going to need work. At first look it appeared to be a simple scrape, some spot grinding to remove a bit of rust and then primer and paint.

I started scraping and things seemed to be going well

But… As you can see, sometimes things just go sideways real quick

So, more scraping, sanding, grinding, and likely some fairing before I can get to the primer and paint.

Good news I was able to find a replacement sanding pad for my orbital sander…. woooo
